The new little man in my life

I promised some of my friends from work that I would be better at updating my blog since we are almost out of here. My first attempt was a little rough because I couldn't remember my login and password........Pitiful.

We have a new addition to our little family!!! Luke Allen Jakobson came on Monday June 7th at 2:15 in the afternoon. We got to the hospital at 7:00 am, started pitocin at 8:00, had water broken at 9:00, got the epidural at 10:30, started pushing at 2:00 and had him at 2:15! I thought my labor and delivery was easy with Kole, but Luke proved me wrong. I pushed for 1 hour and 45 mins with Kole and was very exhausted after. I started my first push with Luke and my Dr told me not to push so hard. He had me only do half pushes because he didn't want the baby to come out too fast! It was amazing. I was really so shocked at how quick and easy he came to us.

He is such a sweet little baby boy and has a big brother that loves him very much. Kole has been really good at holding him and being soft. I know he will have his days, but so far it has been such a joy to watch him love on his baby brother. Luke seems to be pretty calm, but when he does need something he shows off his fully developed, strong lungs. He and his brother have the same cute little button nose which I just love!!!

We feel so blessed to have two healthy, handsome and sweet boys in our family. Life is about to get pretty hectic, but we are grateful for the opportunity Tyson has to go to school and hopefully have a good job when he is finished. We will pack up on the 26th and be out of here on the 27th. Everything is falling into place beautifully and we are excited for what the future will bring!!!

Suprisingly, I haven't been very good at updating my blog this summer! Here is some of the fun stuff we have been up to!

Kole has become very obsessed with "chews" (shoes). He isn't picky either, he likes my heels, Tyson's big skating shoes and his tennis shoes. I just love this first pic with Tyson's huge shoes!

We went to the Idaho Stampede with my parents and had a blast! Kole had a lot of fun and loved pointing to all the riders. At his first rodeo over the 4th of July, he got really sad everytime one of the Cowboys fell off. He seemed to get over it and loved this rodeo. I think his favorite part was the muttin bustin!

Here is Kole in his cute little boots and wranglers. He LOVES his boots!

Kole is sleeping in a big boy bed! The first night we heard him playing around in his room after we put him to bed. When I went in to check on him he was sleeping in the rocker! Since then he has loved his bed! We were at my parents over the weekend and he got so mad about sleeping in a crib. He insists that he is a big boy and needs a big boy bed!
I have to go to work but have a lot more to blog about later!

I Love Date Night!

Tyson and I finally made time for a date night. It gets so busy during the summer and our date nights got put on the back burner, but we finally got one in. We ate at Iggy's and it was delicious. We were going to meet up with Hilary and Josh for a movie but had like an hour and a half to waste so we went to Kohls to look at my brother's wedding registry. It was really relaxing to be able to browse around the store without Kole getting mad and yelling! By the time we left the store we decided we were too tired to go to the movie so we rented one and headed home. We are such an old married couple! It was so fun and rejuvinating to spend time alone with my man.............. I just really love that guy! Thanks to Grandma Jane for watching Kole so we could have some alone time!

Sisters

I was looking through our pics and came across these pictures of my sisters and I on a shopping trip last spring. Let me just say that I have the best sisters ever! We all have so much in common and have a blast together! We all got to hang out over the 4th and it was so great. My sister in law, Natalie, and my brother's girlfriend, Lacy, were also there and they are so great too. We pretty much all think we are hilarious. It is great that we all get along so much. I love all of you guys!

So Good to Be Home

I have been up in Crouch since Wed for our Girl's Camp and it is sooooooo good to be home! We really had a great week but I missed my boys so much. The girls really seemed to have a good time but I think us leaders had the most fun! We were all talking about how we hadn't laughed that much in a LONG time. It was great! Since Tyson and I were in Oregon over the 4th, we left Kole there with my parents on Sun because they were keeping him while I went to camp. It was the hardest thing leaving him. I cried a bunch on the way home and pretty much everytime I called my mom to see how he was doing. I am so thankful for my parents to keep him! Thanks a ton mom and dad, I know he loved it there. I picked Kole up today and we played hard until I put him to bed. Now I am counting down the minutes til Tyson comes home. Being away really makes you grateful for such a wonderful family! He just kept going and sitting on the photographer's lap and trying to play with the big lights. He is one busy little boy!

Oh How the Time Flies

Yes, I do realize that it has been almost 4 months since I have updated my blog! I didn't realize that anybody else had noticed until my friends from work started giving me crap! So, I admit that I have been a total SLACKER and vow to try harder to keep it updated. No promises though. So, what has been going on the last 4 months? Too much to catch you all up on, so I will just have to highlight some things. Kole is almost 18 months now! He is such a busy little man. He recently discovered how to climb out of his crib. Tyson was sleeping in one morning and thought he heard Kole's cry coming closer and closer to the room, and that is when it all started. Tyson moved Kole's crib down all the way and thought he had done the trick. I put Kole down for his nap and made a smart comment to him about how he couldn't get out now, and not even 1 minute after I left his room, he was walking out of his room, jabbering something (I'm sure he was making a smart comment right back to his good old mom). Needless to say, the mattress is now laying on the floor and Kole is very upset that he cannot crawl out.

I am staying so, so busy with Young Womens, work, family, vacations and all the other day to day ventures. Our summer is all booked up, but we are excited for all of our little adventures! I promise that I will post some much needed pics soon!

Basketball

We didn't have cable for most of the winter and therefore didn't watch hardly any basketball. One of the BSU games was replayed on 24/7 so we thought it would be fun to watch. This was the first game that Kole ever saw and he LOVED it! Now we have cable and watch quite a bit of basketball.....Kole doesn't mind at all!

Montana!!!

I have been meaning to post pics of our trip to visit Hilary and Josh and am just now getting to it! We had a blast playing games, chatting, and most of all skiing! We skied Big Sky on Friday and Bridger Bowl on Saturday. We bought Kole some little lucky bums skis. They are great because they should last him a couple years because you just strap his snow boots in. Tyson had to do a sweet tape job on the tips because Kole kept spreading them apart really far, trying to walk. As you can see from the first pic it took him a while to warm up to the idea of skiing. We had such a blast skiing some sweet runs and the bunny hill with little Kole. Thanks for a great weekend Hil and Josh!

Date Night!!!

Tyson and I went on a date Saturday with this really fun couple from our ward. We started at Andrew's Rib Shak (so yummy) where I ordered some way too spicy chicken, but loved the potatoes! It is such a good place if you haven't been! Then we went and watched Yes Man. It was really funny but definitely had some parts that I wish they would have left out. Prob my favorite part is when he left the hospital AMA and drove off like a crazy man on his friends motorcycle. It shows a back shot of him cruising and his hospital gown is not done up. It was hilarious..............Just a reminder that the kids at work really appreciate me bugging them about doing up the gown for walks!

I replaced Tyson's mini tripod for his camera for Christmas. We tried it out this morning before church and I was really impressed! My boys are so handsome! I love Kole in his big boy tie!

Kole's Happy Birthday

I'm finally posting some pics from Koles birthday party. He was so fun at his party because he got really excited about everything. He loved the blue frosting from his cake (which doesn't look impressive but I made it myself and coming from me it is VERY impressive), loved to open his presents, and loved the way the clippers felt on the back of his head for his first haircut!

This is the after picture from his first haircut. You can't see it very well but it turned out pretty good! He kept laughing and closing his eyes all funny everytime we cut used the clippers on the back part.

We were all sitting around talking and all of a sudden Kole was on top of the coffee table where all the presents were. He was ready to get the show on the road! We also celebrated my big 25 which is why there are so many presents!

He has been really in to eating with utensils lately so he really dug in when we gave him a spoon.

My Little Man is 1!!!!!!

Yep, it's official. My little man is now 1! I cannot believe how fast this past year went for us. Tyson and I are so blessed to be the parents of this little guy. He is such a sweet boy and very curious. Everyone always laughs because he always looks like he is trying to figure something out. He is walking all over the place and saying "mamma" and "dadda" although I don't think he knows yet what they mean. He still crawls sometimes because he is probably the fastest crawler you have ever seen. I can always hear him coming when I am in a different room of the house because he pounds his little hands into the floor and books it wherever he goes. He has four teeth and the top two have the cutest gap between them. He opens his eyes really wide and grunts whenever he is excited about something. I could go on and on about all the things I love about little Kole, but I think I will stop here. We are celebrating his birthday on Saturday so I will post some pictures of him eating his cake!

Blazers Game!!!

Our family has always been big Blazers fans and decided it would be fun to drive to Portland while everyone was home for Christmas to watch a game. Despite all but 3 of us getting sick the night before and day of the game, it was a blast!!! Kole looked so cute in his little Roy jersey. We had so many people telling us how cute he was which I was like, of course he is! All of the kids were troopers during the game. Little miss Abigail was the beggest trooper of them all. She got sick during the game and threw up twice. The second time she threw up in a plastic bag and said that she liked throwing up in the bag better cuz it stinks when you throw up on your shirt. We were so grateful for the chance to go on this trip and for the safe travel despite not so safe roads!

Christmas

I just realized that it has been almost 2 months since I have updated! I have lots of good pics from our trip to Oregon for Christmas, so bare with me! We went tubing on Christmas Eve (a tradition that has been going on as long as I can remember), and it was soooooo cold! We made one run down the hill with Kole, one with just Tyson and I, and then called it good. The wind was blowing too much for the kids but it was still fun to get out there! Kole looked too cute in his snowsuit. His big present from Grandma and Grandpa Jakobson was a new front facing car seat which he totally loves! When we put him in it in the car for the first time he was looking at us like he was getting away with something. We had everyone at home for Christmas which was so much fun because we only get to all be together like two times out of the year! All the kids loved playing with each other:) It is always so great to be around family during the holidays!

Actually, before I start I am going to break the first rule. I just realized that I have no idea how to put a link on a post so, sorry Heather, everyone will have to see your great blog by using my link on the side! (Seriously guys, you should stop by her blog if you have a sec, she is such a dedicated blogger and has some great thoughts on her posts!)

1) Ever since I finished my track career I have been a horrible on and off workout girl. I will go die hard for 1, maybe 2 weeks and then not at all for a couple of months! On my girls weekend my sister motivated me to get in shape ( she had a baby about the same time I did and looks great). So, I am happy to say that I have now been working out for 5 weeks straight and feel great!

2) I LOVE taking naps. I have always been able to sleep whenever, wherever and since becoming a night shifter I am an even better sleeper. Best place: Our full size micro fleece couch. Best blanket: Our cozy JC Penny brand throw blankie. Best time: When the laundry is done, the house is clean, Kole is asleep, and preferably rainy outside. My all time favorite to go along with my nap is to have the TV on with the volume almost all the way down. I do have to remember to turn it back up when I am done or Tyson totally catches me.

3) Fall is my all time favorite season and I especially love it when I get to visit my parents in Oregon. The morning air is so crisp.......It makes me want to go watch a high school football game! I also love the beautiful fall colors and the snow capped mountains. The anticipation for the Holiday season is here minus the stressors.

4) I DO NOT like scary movies. I really don't see the point of purposefully scaring the crap out of myself. Pretty sure I get this from my Dad. My stomach gets completely tied up in knots and I always end up scrunched in my seat with my hands over my eyes. Theater, home, or friends house, I don't feel bad about covering my eyes for pretty much the entire film.

5) I am a country girl at heart. I grew up on a Ranch and LOVED it! I get so excited every time Tyson and I get to go to Oregon to visit. I especially love riding horses when there is a task at hand. I still have a very hard time with the idea of inside pets because on a Ranch the animals are all outdoors and they do just fine.

6) I loved my pregnancy, labor and delivery experience. I know that this may not be the case with future pregnacies, but I truly loved it! I think that Heavenly Father messed with my vision a little bit in order to ensure that I would have future children because I thought I looked so good the entire time! According to my eyes I was never swollen (except the ankles after a 12 hour shift), my butt looked great in my maternity jeans, and I never waddled around. Looking back at pictures and seeing myself over 50lbs later, I realize that this was not the case but am very thankful for my blurred vision. I had the best labor and delivery and am so excited to do it again!

Scary Scary Pirate

Kole was a pirate for his very first halloween. We like to say that he was scary, but he was just plain cute! I really wanted to paint a Captain Hook mustache on his face, but he was moving all over the place and as soon as I finished one side, he rubbed it off with his white shirt sleeve. Tyson had the great idea to "smudge" a beard on with a paper towel. This worked much better!
This is Kole Trick-or-Treating at Grandma Jakobson's house. He wasn't sure what the heck was going on!
Here is Kole with his Trick-or-Treat bag. Grandma did a good job of giving Kole things other than candy. He got a bouncy ball that he absolutely loves!

Here is Kole with his cousins Spider Man and Minnie Mouse. Kole wasn't sure about the new look his cousin Grant had.

Kole's one and only piece of candy was a sucker from Aunt Jenny. Aunt Jenny really earned some points with Kole for this one!

Here he is at the end of the night. He had sucker all over his hands, hair and face and needed to get the scruff off his cheeks! He was wired from the nights activities and the sucker but crashed as soon as we gave him his bottle.

We both had so much fun showing Kole off the the fam. We also went to Uncle Brent and Aunt Elena's house. We were a little dissapointed and surprised that there dog, Cooper, didn't have a costume on.

Kole's First Pumpkin

We went over to Grandma and Grandpa Jakobson's house on Saturday to carve pumpkins. Kole is so funny because he doesn't like to touch anything that is wet or feels funny. He gives this hilarious face (those of you that know him know he has many funny faces). We kept trying to get him to touch the insides of the pumpkin and he was getting so mad! Once Tyson had carved one eye, Kole took the piece and started eating it. He thought the pumpkin was really cool when we turned the lights out and put the candle in. In this first picture you can see that he has developed a love for chocolate by the remnants of a cupcake on his face. I have no idea where he got his chocolate gene from! Grandma made some yummy cupcakes and Kole was very appreciative. Thanks for a great day Grandma and Grandpa!

The gym I go to has a great day care where Kole loves to play. Yesterday when I went to get him he was walking all over behind a push toy. Tyson and I decided that he would probably love to have one at our house and figured it would help him learn to walk, so we made our first trip to Toys 'R' Us and got him a new Haul &Ride. I just got him up from his nap and it was sitting in the middle of the floor. He started making lots of noises and wanted down to see what it was. He does pretty good at walking for a while, but his favorite is to hold onto it with one hand and take it with him as he crawls all over the house. I guess that isn't really the idea, but it sure keeps him entertained!

Long Time Coming

I was looking at some different blog pages and getting annoyed that there hadn't been any updates for a while, then I realized that it has been a month since I last posted! Life has just been moving right along for us. Tyson is taking a couple of classes at BSU which means we get student tickets to the football games again. We have been to one game and it was a blast! Tyson is also working part time driving truck for Idaho Sand and Gravel so he has some pretty good stories from work about his interesting co-workers. I am now working a Sun, Mon, Tues night shift at work. I just started that this week but I think it will be really nice to work them right in a row and then have 4 days off! It is also nice to have a set schedule so we can plan a little bit. Kole is getting to be quite the big boy. Tyson and I really have our hands full with our little man and I know he is only going to get more busy! Summer has definitely come to an end but that means fall is here (my favorite season) and winter is just around the corner! I will be breaking out the Christmans music soon:) Here are a few random pictures of my favorite little guy!

Big Boy

So I went in to get Kole from his nap the other day, and this is what I found.....................................

Apparently he thinks he is a big boy now and can pull himself up all by his big boy self! Don't worry, Tyson is lowering the crib so he doesn't try to jump out by his big boy self. He does pull himself up pretty well, but needs to work on the wobling thing.
I bought these really cute jeans from Children's Place that are 6-9mo, so they should fit great. They looked a little big on him, but I wanted him to wear them anyway. He was soon off and crawling and when I looked over, I saw that he had crawled right out of his pants! I was laughing and Kole was smiling back like he thought he was pretty funny. He can actually crawl pretty well on his hands and knees, but he usually reverts back to the comfortable army crawl.

Camping Trip

We finally got our first camping trip in of the year last weekend. It was such a blast! It was Tysons brother's birthday, so the whole family went, except his dad who had to work. We did some boating, playing in the water, smores, campfires and good old fashion tent camping. Kole did really well and really seemed to enjoy it except for sleeping time. His belly hurt and he wanted everyone to know! We get to go camping again this weekend for our ward campout, so we are stoked! Here are som cute pics from the weekend!

7 months!!!

Kole is now 7 months and getting so big.......Well, actually he is really kind of skinny. We went to the Doctor yesterday and here are his stats

Height: 27in. 49th percentile

Weight: 16lbs, 11oz 21st percentile

Tyson and I keep looking at him and thinking he is soooo big, but apparently he's just a little one. I really don't think he will be gaining a lot of weight anytime soon because he is all over the place! He loves to army crawl by using only his left arm to pull and pushes himself forward with his legs. He gets up into crawling position really often but just rocks back and forth and then gets back down on his belly. I know he will be into EVERYTHING soon. I'm sure all you moms out there have no sympathy:)

A WWII Soldiers Letters

I was looking on Becca's blog and she had posted the web site that my cousin, Curt, has been working on. He has some of my Grandpa Bingham's letters to his parents while he was in basic training and some from when he was actually in the war. He also has some great pictures of Grandpa. I was never able to meet Grandpa because he died at a young age of a heart attack, but I have heard some great stories. After reading these letters and knowing how much he sacrified to serve his country, I am so much more grateful for him and the thousands of men and women who serve our country everyday. I am sure that there isn't a single person serving our country who hasn't sacrificed something great to be serving. I am so thankful for Curt and Aunt Cilla who have done so much research and family history so that I can know my Grandpa a little better.

Hilary and I decided that we were both badly in need of some new hair color so we headed to Sallys and got some dye. We did make a little bit of a mess in the kitchen, but i am sure I can find some way to clean it up!

Kole's two front bottom teeth finally broke through last week. I was feeding him his cereal and he kept biting down really hard and shaking his head back and forth. I couldn't figure out what he was doing, so I looked in his mouth and saw that he had cut his first two teeth! They are showing more each day, although he doesn't like to show them off. It was really hard to get this picture!

First Swimming Outing

Kole got invited to his first swimming pool and loved it! He loves taking baths, so I figured he would like the big pool. His cousin goes to the pool most days, so we decided to join him. Grant was liking having Kole there to "play" with. Kole's favorite part was definitely the small fountain. He kept trying to grab the water which kept him occupied for a long time!

Trip to Oregon

We went to North Powder over the 4th of July and had a great time! All of the family was there......Grandma and Grandpa were loving having all of their grandkids together for the first time! On the 4th we went to the good ol' Haines parade and rodeo. It got a little hot but turned out to be a pretty good day. Later Dad hosted his usual BBQ at the house. He ended up having to sport his rain gear to finish off making the food! We had lots of family and friends all cozy in the house. That night Seth and Tyson did a small fireworks show which Jodi loved....She was really impressed with her dad, she kept saying "Dad made fireworks!" On Saturday we took some family pictures which will be posted later and then went up to Anthony Lakes to do some fishing and s'mores. There were still a lot of snow piles so we had to bundle up, but the campfire felt great! We had an awesome time seeing the fam. Thanks mom and dad!!!

Monday, June 2 was our 2 year anniversary! We were talking the other day that it really seems like we have been together so much longer! I am so lucky to have my best friend with me everyday. He is so great and truly a blessing in my life. Here are some good ol' pictures of the big day!

Tyson did a good job and had flowers delivered to the house. I was so excited! We did dinner and a movie and had a great time. We watched What Happens In Vegas, and would highly recommend it!

Kole went to his first party a couple of weeks ago. As you can see he wanted to dress up for the occasion. It was his cousin's 3rd birthday and he got to pick his theme, so he went with a sweet biker birthday. His mom bought all of the boys some premium stashes and bandannas.

The song "I'm so glad when daddy comes home" is so true! Kole already gets excited when Tyson gets home from work. A couple of weeks ago Tyson got home and decided to do a little dance for Kole. As you can see from the video, Kole thought it was hilarious. I'm not sure if he was laughing with Tyson, or at him because I thought the tall white man in the kitchen looked pretty funny myself:)

Kole has finally found his feet and it is so fun to watch him play with them! When he lifts his feet up to his face, he gets really off balance and turns to the side. The other day I was watchin him eat his feet, and all of a sudden he just rolled all the way over! I was so glad that I was watching him and got to see his face right after. He was pretty proud of himself as you can see!

Bath Time

Kole has graduated from his little sink tub and now gets all the room he wants in the big boy tub. He gets so excited sometimes that he can't hardly stand it. His favorite move in the open water is the running man, which he is pretty good at!

It's Cereal Time!!!

We started Kole on his rice cereal last week. He literally dove in at first, but then he got really ticked because it all kept falling out of his mouth. We maybe got 2 out of 20 spoonfulls down, but it was worth it! Dad found that if we lay him back on our knees with them proped up a little, he gets more of it down. This makes Kole, mom, and dad all happy! Now he is taking it much better and gets really mad if you don't have the next spoon ready and waiting.

This was right before we started the cereal. As you can see, we have a pretty happy boy!

Here is a video of the first dive. He did make some pretty funny faces that we didn't get on camera.

Family Road Trip

We had the opportunity to go to St. George a couple of weeks ago for our niece Janie's baby blessing. It was such a blast! I always love it when I get to see Seth and Natalie... It is even better when some of Nat's family is there because they are histerical. Jodilie is as full of it as ever and Janie Elle is as happy as ever..........Such a cute family! My favorite quote from Jodi was "I did it all my shelf" after anyting she did. Thanks to Seth and Nat for letting all of us overrun their house, we loved seeing you! Here are some pictures of our fun weekend!

This is Kole with his cousin Janie who is just 2 weeks older than him. She definitely has him beat in the thigh area:) On a side note, the outfit Kole is wearing is from Uncle Eli.......Some guys just have good taste!
Our first family picture in nice sunny weather. I wanted to get a pic on the ground in front of the flowers because Seth and Nats turned out so good from there. It was really funny watching Tyson get into this position..........He isn't the most flixible tall white man you have seen. He was a little objective because he felt "gay"

Happy family..........They spent a lot of the weekend trying to get a new family picture with the four of them in it. This is definitely one of the happiest faces from Jodi........Most of the others had a pretty sweet back arch, I'm sure all parents know what that is like.
Our handsome little guy didn't mind getting his picture taken, but he had a really hard time looking at the camera because those dang hands are something else. He really can't figure them out!

So, as you can probably tell, I love taking pictures of Kole! He is usally a good sport, but gets sick of it by the end. Tyson laughs because I like to "stage" Kole around the house in hopes of getting a good one. I even put him in our basket that holds our magazines because I thought it would be so cute! Kole was not having it. These are a couple pics from our many "photo shoots"

This is the same day as the basket incident. This one is from the beginning, so life is still prettty good!

Most of the time anything close to his face ends up being a distraction......hands, shirts, toys.

This is just a typical end of the day picture. He tries hard to be nice about it, but seriously, it's boring.

A wonderful weekend

As most of you know, last weekend we finally had good weather! Saturday was so beautiful, so Tyson and I decided to tackle some much needed yard work. Kole sat outside and helped us from his swing. He was yapping to himself the whole time since Tyson and I were busy doing other things. We found that he really enjoys the outdoors. Sunday was another great day, so I decided to put Kole in one of his summer outfits. Is he not the cutest thing you have ever seen? (although I seem to think this every time I look at him, surely it's not just me:) After church we went over to Caldwell for a "Farewell BBQ" for our Uncle Clyde and Aunt Berta who are going on a mission. It was fun to get together with the whole family and talk with Clyde and Berta about their mission. Man do the young girl cousins love Kole...........True, he gets a little man handled, but who could resist!

Mom's New Trick

Lately I have been having problems finding any time to get ready. Kole is happy as can be just playing with his toys or laying on the ground until I step into the bathroom.............Then it is "I need my mom!" I decided that he would probably be okay if he was in the bathroom with me so I tried laying him on the floor, but he wasn't having it. I remembered his favorite little chair and decided to give it a try. This made everything okay. I think we might have some problems as he gets older because he just loves looking at himself in the mirror! Now, anytime he is sad, we just have to stand in front of the mirror and I have a happy boy again.

Funny Guy

I was in the bathroom with Kole the other day and he started smiling at himself in the mirror. That night when Tyson got home I had him come into the bathroom so he could see how cute he was. Kole decided to give his dad a show and started cracking up! This was the first laugh from him so Tyson and I were loving it. It was so funny to see him laugh at the "funny guy" in the mirror. We caught some of it on camera but he did get a little camera shy.

New toys

I just love being a mom! He is growing and discovering new things everyday! I just can't believe he is already 3 months old. These are some of his favorite new toys:)

This is his favorite (and only) floor toy. Sometimes when we are holding him and he is really fussy, we just have to put him under it and life is alright again. The orange toy is a mirror and it is so funny when he finds himself in it. He will give a big smile and a little "gooo". He is his own little buddy and he doesn't even know it!
Grandma got him a new Bumbo chair and he loves it! Although he only lasts about 10 minutes before his head is at a 90 degree angle to the ground.
I put him in front of the TV with a basketball game on and he was glued! I think he has some of his papa's genes:)

Koles Blessing

We had Kole's blessing the beginning of March. It was such a great experience to have Tyson give him such a wonderful blessing. He really did a great job. Thanks to everyone that was able to make it and we missed those that couldn't come. We had a full house but we loved it! I really feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family!

Our trip to Tamarack

We went to Tamarack with Tyson's family over the weekend. It was so nice to be up in the mountains, especially with all the beautiful snow! Tyson had a good time skiing on Saturday while I stayed in the cottage with Kole. We kept asking Kole's cousin, Grant, if Kole could go skiing with him but he said Kole was too small:( I know Tyson is so excited for Kole to be big enough to ski......I am sure he thinks this will happen next year so I might have to intervene!
